As you can see…my page is still a work in progress. Never thought I would be doing something like this…but what a great way to introduce myself!
I graduated from Anthem College, where my chosen course of study was Medical Billing and Coding. I am currently employed at an Anesthesia Billing office as an Assistant Client Manager. Prior to this, I was an Accounts Receivable Rep who transitioned into a Client Training Rep with a Physical Therapy Billing office. Over the past 15-20 years, both companies have provided me with some fantastic learning experiences.
My skills include but are not limited to the following:

Electronic Medical Records, EPIC, Office Ally
Provider Inquiries, research issues – missing claims, payments, incorrect coding
Insurance Verification
Requesting or retrieving Medical Records, Pulling documents for audits
Posting payments, applying insurance or provider adjustments
Accounts Receivable Management, A/R Followup, Denials, Appeals
Review and analyze customer accounts, Identify trends, Issue recommendations for successful resolutions.

Currently, I’m hoping some of you will reach out and share some of your most recent billing experiences with me…good, bad, or in-between. My ultimate goal is to connect with smaller clinics / physicians, as an independent contractor, and determine which of my many skills may benefit the smaller clinics. I’m open to suggestions.
